Are Different Types Of Accident Treated Differently?
Accidents are generally defined as unfortunate and undesirable event which causes casualties. Some accidents mainly due to carelessness and some are purely because one’s misfortune, but in any context accidents proves fatal. In the recent past Detroit has faced numerous road accidents.
Some of the terrible accidents that encountered Detroit include bus accidents, drunk driving accidents, rental car accidents, hit and run accidents, pedestrian accidents, and ATV accidents. The victims of the accidents are badly hit. Only few of them have survived their lives. Most of them are left with brain traumatic injuries, head, neck, shoulder injuries, and even burn injuries.
One of the main reasons for accidents is defective roads, and the graph of number of accidents goes high mainly during the season of winter. But incase of any accident and if the driver is badly hit, regardless of which party was at the fault of the accident, the drivers are entitled with no fault benefits and he is being paid with reimbursement for medical expenses, and other attendant care.
Road defects have wide variety of causes that includes improper design, potholes and road defects, trees and debris on roadway, failure to post warning signals and signs or malfunctioning of signals and sign boards. With the increase in vehicles and congestion of roads the number of accidents also increases in parallel. It is highly a difficult task to build a nation without accidents but it can be avoided to some extent by strictly sticking to the road rules and regulations and it is more and more important to avoid drunk and driving for the benefit of ourselves and others.
